In Alexandria City Public Schools, we’re approaching AI with a focus on respect, ethics, and shared leadership. We're not chasing trends, we’re listening to staff and students, piloting with intention, and shaping practices grounded in real-world needs.
This session will highlight how ACPS: -Supports responsible staff use of AI with human-led decision-making -Uses student and staff voice to shape AI priorities -Pilots tools with clear boundaries and defined outcomes -Builds leadership capacity
Participants will walk away with sample focus group protocols, planning templates, guiding principles. The session will also include time for Q&A and discussion on how we can collectively build the next chapter of AI in education with purpose and respect.
