Julia Fallon is the Executive Director of the SETDA, where she collaborates with U.S. state and territorial digital learning leaders to empower the education community in leveraging technology for learning, teaching, and school operations. Under her leadership, SETDA has played a pivotal role in developing the U.S. Department of Education’s 2024 National Educational Technology Plan, among other significant initiatives. Julia's dedication to advocating for equitable access to educational technology has earned her and SETDA various accolades and recognition within the education sector.
Before joining SETDA staff in 2021, Julia worked for the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for 17 years, leading initiatives focused on technology integration, educator professional learning, digital equity, and federal program implementation. She holds a master’s in educational technology from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s in business education from NYU.
