Michelle Soriano is a Professional Learning & Implementation Specialist at CAST, where she works to promote inclusive and accessible educational opportunities for students receiving special education services.
Michelle's career in education includes roles as a state cohort lead, Regional Education Specialist, behavior specialist administrator, PK-12 instructional coach, general education teacher, special education teacher, and campus administrator. These diverse experiences have given her a deep understanding of accessibility and the importance of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in creating personalized learning experiences.
She holds dual Ed.M. degrees in Special Education from Lamar University and Instructional Technology from American InterContinental University, along with a B.B.A. from American InterContinental University. Michelle is passionate about helping educators embrace learner variability and supporting students in guiding their own learning journeys.
Michelle finds joy in helping others recognize their unique strengths and gifts. She believes in the power of education to transform lives and strives to foster a sense of worth in every individual. Inspired by the words of Mr. Rogers, she aims to help people realize their rare and valuable qualities.
