Dr. Jean Hess is an educator, accredited AI Consultant, and founder of brAInwave consulting, llc. She partners with K–12 districts and education organizations as an AI strategist and leadership advisor, supporting human-centered AI implementation that protects trust, clarifies responsibility, and reduces unintended harm. Drawing on decades of experience leading large-scale initiatives in learning, technology integration, and professional learning, Dr. Hess helps leaders translate values into operational systems, particularly in governance, communication, and staff capacity building. Her work bridges research, policy, and day-to-day practice so district teams can move from experimentation to scalable, ethical use of AI. Dr. Hess is a nationally recognized speaker and thought leader on responsible AI, systems design, and leadership decision-making in the age of automation.
