Kate started her career at Carmel Clay Schools in Carmel, Indiana, as an elementary media specialist, then became the district technology training and development specialist before accepting the newly created position of Assistant Director of Digital Security & Privacy. In her current role, she led CCS in gaining the Trusted Learning Environment seal and continues to help foster a culture of digital safety in her school community and in the state. In her spare time, she enjoys audiobooks, Lego, video games, and taking her ancient dog for very slow walks.
