Christine Feenstra is the Executive Director of the California Association for Leading Innovation in Education (CALIE), formerly CUE. Guided by the belief that innovation in education begins with people, CALIE exists to inspire learning, empower educators, and advance bold ideas that shape the future of teaching and learning. Christine leads the organization’s transformation into a modern, mission-driven association redefining how innovation in education takes root and scales.

Under her direction, CALIE is expanding professional learning opportunities, deepening community connections, and amplifying the work of educators leading change in their schools and systems.

Before CALIE, Christine served in senior nonprofit leadership roles where she led strategy, built programs from the ground up, and designed initiatives that strengthened community engagement and impact. Throughout every chapter of her career, her focus has remained constant: to create meaningful and sustainable impact by supporting those who make learning possible.
