Dr. Jennifer Williams is the Director of Instructional Technology and Media Services for Newton County Schools in Georgia, where she leads the strategic design and implementation of innovative, districtwide digital learning systems. With more than 25 years in education, she has served as a classroom teacher, instructional technology specialist, and district leader, bringing deep expertise in curriculum integration, professional learning, and organizational leadership. Dr. Williams is widely recognized for her ability to align technology with high-impact instructional practices, ensuring that digital tools meaningfully enhance teaching and learning. She currently leads the district’s work to position the district's LMS as the central hub of instruction while advancing the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence and digital resources to improve student outcomes.
A national award-winning leader, Dr. Williams was named the 2026 Southeast Innovative Leader by Tech & Learning magazine for her transformative work in expanding access, strengthening literacy, and building sustainable innovation across her district. She is the visionary behind initiatives such as InspiHER: Code Like a Girl, CODE 365, and Newton Kids Code which collectively empower students, educators, and families through technology-rich experiences. Dr. Williams is passionate about developing future-ready learners and equipping educators with the tools and strategies needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Through her leadership, she continues to bridge the gap between innovation and impact, creating scalable models for school systems nationwide.
