Dr. Michelle Watt is the CTO in Residence at the Arizona Institute for Education and the Economy (AIEE) at Northern Arizona University, where she also represents the institute in leading the AZ AI Alliance. With deep expertise in educational technology, competency-based education, career and technical education, and change management, she helps organizations navigate and drive systemic educational transformation. Previously, she served as the Chief Systems Officer for the Scottsdale Unified School District, spearheading their enterprise-level digital and AI strategies. Dr. Watt also develops future technology professionals by teaching collegiate online courses. Her strategic and technical expertise is backed by industry-leading credentials, including CETL, TACL, Security+, and CySA+. Dr. Watt was identified as a Top 100 EdTech Influencer for 2022-2023 by EdTech Digest.
