Dr. Liz Freeman, Superintendent of Cedar Grove-Belgium School District, has been an ed-tech leader for more than twenty years. As an educational leader she has been a curriculum and professional development director, assistant superintendent of innovation, and chief academic officer. Freeman has presented at the state, regional, and national level on ed tech topics including personalized learning, scaling innovation, and the modernization of professional learning. A CODiE judge, Freeman is always interested in the intersection of innovation, student learning, and educator development. With experience in rural, suburban and urban districts ranging in enrollment from 700 students to 21,000 students, Freeman integrates evidence-based practices to ensure high levels of student learning.
