Amanda Lanicek is the Chief Technology Officer at Springtown ISD. She bridges the gap between complex technical infrastructure and the human element of education. Her career began in the classroom, and she remains a firm believer that the soft skills of teaching—empathy, adaptability, and communication—are the ultimate foundation for effective technology leadership. Amanda is the recipient of several awards, most recently recognized by Raptor Technologies with the Pioneer in School Safety Technology Award. With a Master’s in Educational Technology Leadership and a background as a Digital Learning Coach, she approaches EdTech with a unique "digital-analog balance." While championing innovation, she is a vocal advocate for the irreplaceable value of face-to-face connection and the cognitive benefits of handwriting in a digital age. Amanda is passionate about building authentic, relationship-based partnerships in the EdTech space and mentoring educators as they "shadow and leap" into leadership roles. Whether she's navigating district-wide deployments, speaking at conferences, or consulting EdTech companies, her goal remains the same: to ensure the human element remains in an ever-changing digital world.
