Andy Fekete is the Director for Innovation and Technology for Community Consolidated School District 93 in Illinois. With a background in elementary education, Andy blends classroom experience with district-level leadership to drive meaningful technology integration that enhances teaching and learning and improves operational efficiency. His work centers on building systems and professional learning opportunities that make technology purposeful, sustainable, and accessible for all.

In his role, Andy oversees all aspects of instructional technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data privacy. He leads initiatives that align digital tools with the district’s strategic goals, ensuring that innovation supports both student achievement and teacher effectiveness. He collaborates closely with instructional coaches, administrators, and technology staff to create environments where technology empowers educators.

Andy is a passionate advocate for professional learning. He develops and facilitates engaging in-person, online, and blended learning experiences focused on classroom technology, digital citizenship, and the thoughtful use of AI in education. His sessions help educators build confidence and practical skills that translate directly into classroom success.

Andy holds the Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification from CoSN, is an Apple Learning Coach and a Google Certified Trainer, among other certifications.
