After a 29-year career in public education, including roles as a classroom teacher, coach, advisor, department head, building-level administrator, assistant superintendent, and superintendent, Dr. Mark MacLean, the Executive Director of the New Hampshire School Administrators Association (NHSAA), now fortunately finds himself collaborating and working with all system leaders throughout New Hampshire. As a former computer (graphics, programming, and applications) and business education (accounting and entrepreneurship) instructor, Dr. MacLean has embraced innovation, new learning, technology, and risk taking throughout his professional education journey.
The New Hampshire School Administrators Association (NHSAA) has been a credible and compelling voice for education leadership in New Hampshire since 1941. In his role as the Executive Director of the NHSAA, Dr. MacLean has been looking for innovative ways to serve all system leaders - including Chief Technology Officers. With that same entrepreneurial and forward-thinking spirit, he relied upon during his public education career, Dr. MacLean and the staff at the NHSAA have forged an affiliate membership structure with the New Hampshire Chief Technology Officers (NHCTO). This exciting new partnership will benefit students, education systems, and help elevate the important role of technology leadership in New Hampshire.
