Tony Schlorff is an accomplished education and technology leader with a diverse background spanning instructional leadership, operational management, and strategic innovation. He currently serves as the Chief Financial and Integrated Services Officer at AASA, The School Superintendents Association, where he leads national initiatives to support school system leaders.
Prior to joining AASA, Tony served as Chief Technology Officer for both Township High School District 214 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in Illinois. His earlier roles include Assistant Principal at Carol Stream Elementary School and high school mathematics teacher in Naperville, Illinois—where he began his career in education.
Tony is passionate about transforming education through innovative leadership and purposeful integration of technology. He holds two master’s degrees from North Central College in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership. He is currently completing his doctorate in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with a Superintendent Endorsement.
A recognized voice in the field, Tony is a CoSN Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL), Apple Foundations Trainer, and SMART Exemplar Educator. He has delivered numerous presentations at leading conferences, including the Illinois Computing Educators Conference, Triple I (IASA, IASB, IASBO), and CoSN.
Tony’s leadership has driven major district-wide improvements, including implementing a personalized learning model for a PreK–8 district serving over 4,000 students and establishing a sustainable technology and infrastructure replacement cycle for a 12,000-student high school district. His expertise spans strategic planning, budget and asset management, public-private partnerships, and professional learning.
