Stuart Long, MS, CISSP (he/him/his)

Cascade Technology Alliance


Stuart Long (he/him) is the Chief Information Officer at the Cascade Technology Alliance and the Northwest Regional Education Service District. The Cascade Technology Alliance is the technology partnership encompassing Northwest Regional and Multnomah ESDs. The Cascade Technology Alliance supports 53 Oregon school districts and their 309,000+ school children with technology services. In his role Stuart oversees the multi-regional service district’s overall technology strategy, operations, delivery, and customer support. He collaborates with school and technology leaders from across the state to help address pressing needs in K12, including cybersecurity, the rise of AI, and fusing equity into the core of technology. Stuart serves on the board of LinkOregon as one of two representatives for K12. Prior to joining CTA & NWRESD, he led the technology team at Clackamas ESD as Chief Information Officer. Stuart is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), holds a Masters in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon and a Bachelors in History from Virginia Commonwealth University.
