With 20 years of experience spanning the classroom and the server room, Amie brings a unique, 360-degree perspective to educational technology. Her career includes nine years as a K-8 teacher across Southern California and the South Bay, followed by 11 years in Ed Tech leadership and Service Desk administration. This dual background fuels her passion for bridging the gap between IT departments and the classroom, helping technical staff understand the daily teacher experience to create more equitable, practical solutions for students. A true product of her community, she serves as an administrator in Jeffco Public Schools, the same district she attended as a student and where her two children now go to school. When she isn't advocating for better school tech, you can find her at the Pilates studio, flying across the country to a concert, lost in a fantasy novel, or cheering from the sidelines at her kids' sports games.
