Teacher trainer and Curriculum Developer
Uruguay's National Administration of Public Education , Illinois
I am an educator and researcher from Uruguay committed to multilingual and socially just education. I taught in public elementary schools for over a decade, serving as both a classroom and an English language teacher. I currently serve as a teacher educator and curriculum developer at the Language Policy Division within Uruguay’s National Administration of Public Education.
My work includes Inglés Sin Límites, a program that expands access to English instruction in rural schools, and collaboration with the Godparents Project, where I help connect educators and volunteers worldwide to support children’s English learning.
I am a third-year Ph.D. student in Curriculum and Instruction (Literacy, Language, and Culture). My research bridges classroom practice, teacher education, and inquiry grounded in critical, antiracist, decolonial, and feminist pedagogies.
