Zach Lind is the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Technology in the Ithaca City School District (NY), where he leads enterprise technology strategy and operations while serving on the district’s executive leadership team. He oversees a complex technology ecosystem supporting more than 6,000 users across 17 facilities, including cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, cybersecurity, and large-scale device deployments.
With over a decade of experience in K–12 technology leadership, Zach has led major initiatives including district-wide cloud migrations, implementation of multi-factor authentication and single sign-on systems, and the design of scalable infrastructure to support equitable access to technology. His work is grounded in aligning technology systems with organizational strategy, ensuring reliability, security, and long-term sustainability.
In addition to his technology leadership, Zach brings a unique perspective from also overseeing Human Resources, allowing him to integrate workforce strategy, data systems, and digital infrastructure. He holds a Master of Arts from Dartmouth College, advanced certifications in educational leadership from Canisius College, and is beginning doctoral studies focused on system-level leadership and organizational design.
