She guides statewide implementation of the NC Digital Learning Plan, leads professional learning for educators and school leaders, and manages grants and research that advance digital teaching and learning. Dr. McBride is the author of The Edtech Coaching Primer: Supporting Teachers in the Digital Age Classroom and a recipient of the ISTE+ASCD Global Making IT Happen Award. An award winning edtech innovator and active board member in state and national technology organizations, she is committed to improving student outcomes through strategic, innovative instructional practice.
