Erin Downing brings 27 years of experience in education to her role as IT Project Manager in the IT Division at Springfield Public Schools in Missouri. She began her career as a classroom teacher for six years before spending 15 years in educational technology support and the last six years in project management.

She thrives on making sense out of chaos and enjoys the challenges that come with new initiatives. Erin has led several impactful projects for the district, including *Wheresthebus*—a real-time bus tracking system for families—and a district-wide phone system replacement.

Her unique background combining teaching, tech support, and project leadership allows her to bridge the gap between education and technology, ensuring practical, user-focused solutions for students, staff, and families.
